Set of Four (4) Black & White Joe Louis Golfing Photos
Names didn't get much bigger Joe Louis in the 1930's and 1940's. Louis took his platform as one of the best boxers and love of golf to become instrumental in the integration of golf and breaking the color barrier when he appeared in a PGA event in 1952. He was also able to offer Charlie Sifford an opportunity at events on the tour. Here are four black and white photos of Joe Louis golfing.
