Seve Ballesteros Signed 'Seve' Book
Seve Ballesteros owns the all time record for wins on the European Tour at 50, including a stretch of 17 years in which he won at least one event a year. In 2008, Seve fainted in an airport and was rushed to the hospital. It was later released that the doctors had found a brain tumor. Multiple surgeries and chemotherapy sessions, it appeared that Seve was in the clear and had beaten the cancer. Unfortunately in 2011, Seve's neurological state had suffered sever deterioration and he passed away on May 6th of that year. Seve's legacy will live on through his charismatic play and through his charity foundation that helps diagnosed children fight cancer. This lot contains a 'Seve' book signed by Seve Ballesteros before his passing.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
NEW AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, January 27th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
