Sports Illustrated Magazines Signed by Floyd, Archer, Brewer, & Goalby

Displayed are four Sports Illustrated signed by the respective cover photo athletes.

Ray Floyd led a dominant performance to beat Ben Crenshaw by eight strokes at the 1976 Masters Tournament. He left his signature here on this April 19, 1976 Sports Illustrated commemorating his Masters win. Floyd signed the cover in black marker.

George Archer shot the final round at even par to defeat Billy Casper, George Knudson and Tom Weiskopf by one stroke to win the 1969 Masters. The April 21, 1969 issue of Sports Illustrated commemorates Archer's win. Archer signed the cover.

Excellent condition Sports Illustrated from 1967 has been signed by cover boy Gay Brewer. Brewer had won the 1967 Masters prior to the August issue of this magazine.

The April 22, 1968 Sports Illustrated features Bob Goalby and Roberto de Vicenzo on the cover. The cover has become cleanly detached but otherwise is in good condition. Bob Goalby's 66 on that Sunday sealed his victory and the honor of donning the green jacket at the 1968 Masters Tournament.

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
