Tiger Woods Early Signed Titleist 1 Pro-Traj 100 Golf Ball - Earliest Known?
Proudly presented before you is one of the earliest known Tiger Woods signed golf balls, with the then 15-16 year old phenom's original signature formation on this Titleist 1 Pro-Traj 100 golf ball. The skinny, soft-spoken, bucket-hat wearing Eldrick 'Tiger' Woods was still coming into his own. Tiger was asked for his signature while a high school standout prep star in 1991-1992 while he was playing the AJGA Texas-based tournament circuit - and he obliged signing this ball. Like all teenagers, he changed along with his signature. It would get shorter before it got longer, evolving almost every year for the first two decades. Woods would go from Algebra class to signing autographs in the blink of an eye. His AJGA experience, including 8 American Junior Golf Association wins between 1991 and 1992, was paramount in his player development. Fast-forward two years and Tiger would claim victory in his first of three straight U.S. Am titles as an 18 year old. The youngest champion in the history of the event which dates to 1895. This circa 1992 signature exemplar of Tiger is nearly full and includes spacing between the first and last name along with formation of the "oo" in Woods. It presents as a "7" for clarity of autograph, a slight nod to it's 30 years of age. The following is the provenance of how this golf ball came to be signed by the teenage golf prodigy.

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 10:00pm EDT Sunday, May 22nd. When placing your INITIAL bid in the auction, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items with multiple bidders in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval, and the clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will automatically close at 10pm EDT
4. All available lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 10pm EDT
**Once extended bidding starts at 10pm EDT, each lot will then begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you**
