Tiger Woods Signed 1995 US Amateur at Newport CC Daily Starting Times Booklet
Prior to the official beginning of 'Tiger Mania' a teenage Tiger Woods signed this 1995 US Amateur at Newport CC for one of the fans in the gallery that week that witness a 19-year old phenom and his early fist pump. Tiger Woods capped his record setting amateur career with his third straight United States Amateur Championship when he claimed the victory in 1996 at Pumpkin Ridge a year later. Pairing guides and tickets from the US Amateur with far less spectators in the crowds attending this Championship are printed in far shorter print runs in comparison to major tournaments. A scant few of those were signed by Tiger Woods that week, with this example bearing a black time-period sharpie signature on the front Newport CC clubhouse graphic. Two years after this event Woods would win his first major at Augusta National and quickly become an international sensation. This was the USGA's centennial installment of the tournament and Tiger Woods' second of an incredible 3 consecutive US Am wins. Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 9:00pm ET Sunday, June 20th. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. Each lot will have its own countdown clock set for a 30-minute interval starting at 9pm ET. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
4. All lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 9pm ET
