Tiger Woods Signed 1997 GSV Rookie Golf Card
Coming into the Masters in 1997, the primary question concerning Tiger Woods at Augusta National wasn't whether the young phenom could win the Masters, but when? He went on that year to lap the field by 12 shots and set the tournament scoring record. Offered here is the collectible card produced by Grand Slam Ventures in 1997/98 to commemorate Tigers Masters victory. Grand Slam Ventures of Tampa, FL initially produced a set comprising of the Masters champs from 1934-93. Each following year they would offer the current year's champion of the Masters on a new card. The Tiger card listed here is from that offering. In addition, Tiger has signed this great condition card with a crisp version of his autograph, accompanying the autograph is a personalization to 'RJ' Because of Tigers contract with Upper Deck he is prohibited from signing these cards. If you are working on this set this is your shot to get the tiger, and it might be the only one you get.
