Tiger Woods & Jack Nicklaus Signed 2000 Open St Andrews Flag - Tiger Slam

The most polarizing athlete in the world of sport Tiger Woods won his first Open Championship and fourth overall major at the 2000 Open at the home of golf in St. Andrews, joining Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Ben Hogan and Gene Sarazen at the career grand slam table. Tiger then adorned this flag from the tournament with a commanding time-period black sharpie and calculated positioning, with past winner Jack adding his penmanship on the St Andrews flag as well (1970 and 1978). By winning at the Old Course at St. Andrews, Tiger made history by becoming the youngest golfer ever at 24 years old to win all four of golf's major championships, and just the fifth player to complete the career grand slam. Another "Slam" would also be on the front page of the sports section, with Woods' "Tiger Slam" en route - four consecutive major wins starting with the 2000 US Open and concluding with the 2021 Masters. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their full letter of authenticity #B47343 comes with this lot.
