While the United States team was defeated by the European team at Oakland Hills Country Club by a score of 18.5-9.5, some big-name golfers signatures appear on this flag. This flag is in excellent condition and displays perfectly. The following U.S. golfers' autographs are on the flag, all signed in black Sharpie: Hal Sutton - Non-playing Captain Steve Jones (2) - Co-Captain along with Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jim Furyk, Davis Love III, Kenny Perry, David Toms, Chad Champbell, Chris DiMarco, Fred Funk, Chris Riley, Jay Haas, and Stewart Cink. A signed letter of provenance from Mitch Dimarco comes with this lot. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
