Tom Kite Signed Pebble Beach Green/White Course Flag with 1992 US Open Inscription
The 1992 US Open at Pebble Beach marked the major Tom Kite topped the field, no longer in consideration as one of the best golfers to never win a major. He concluded the four rounds two strokes ahead of Jeff Sluman for his career defining major championship. Kite commemorated this win by signing this green and white flown 'Prestige Flag Co.' Pebble Beach checkered flag in black marker and added the "1992 US Open" inscription just below. There are signs of overall wear consistent with numerous rounds of usage. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
