Tom Watson Signed 1977 Open Championship at Turnberry Program
Known as the "Duel in the Sun," Tom Watson bested Jack Nicklaus by a single stroke. Paired together the final two days at Turnberry's inaugural hosting of The Open, Jack and Tom picked up their duel that had started 3 months earlier when Tom bested the Golden Bear for the Masters Green Jacket. The program offered here comes in good condition, though showing wear to both the front and back covers. Watson left his signature boldly on the front cover in black marker.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
