Tom Watson Signed Pebble Beach Embroidered Flag - 1982 US Open Champion Description
With '1982 US Open Champion' inscription this single signed flag is a treasure from the often reluctant signer in Watson. James Spence Authentication (JSA) attests through paperwork which will come with this lot that this signature and inscription is all in the Hall of Famers hand.
All proceeds from this auction item will be donated to the Bruce Edwards Foundation for ALS Research. In April 2004, Bruce Edwards, longtime friend and caddy of PGA golfer Tom Watson, died from ALS. They provide funds to medical research facilities dedicated to slowing the progression of and finding a cure for ALS. The Foundation fulfills a promise made to Bruce by Tom to continue to fight to find a cure for this fatal disease. We are pleased to offer this item for such a great cause.
