Tony Jacklin Signed Yellow Course Flag with '1969 Open Champion'
Tony Jacklin won his first of two majors at the 1969 Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St. Annes by two strokes over Bob Charles. From the Royal Lytham & St Annes club comes this course flown flag, signed and inscribed with the significant title of '1969 Open Champion' by Jacklin in black marker on the yellow of the flag exhibiting wear consistent to that of multiple rounds of usage at the host championship club in the often trying links elements. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
