Vintage Jock Hutchison Special Deep Groove Face Tom Stewart Spade Mashie
Deep, dark head stamps allow this Vintage Jock Hutchison Special Deep Groove Face Tom Stewart Spade Mashie to achieve a high presentation value. "Special Hand Forged in Scotland" is found in addition to Jock Hutchison's branding and of course the Spade Mashie identifier. Deep parallel grooves are found on the club's face with a shallow dimple pattern throughout. Hutchison was a leading golfer of the late 1910's and early 1920's, winning winning majors in back to back years at the PGA Championship and US Open. 37" from the top of the grip to the bottom of the heel. It is in very good condition, with few nicks and blemishes. A letter of from PGA Historian Bob Denney will accompany this lot.
