Up for auction is a Vintage Robert Tyre Jones, Jr. Pictorial Bookplate w/ Artwork by E.B. Bird. This highly sought after bookplate is pictured in 'Donovan & Jerris' publication on page 371. To just say Robert 'Bobby' Jones had an impact on The Masters would be selling him short. He was The Masters, from building Augusta National Golf Club the way he envisioned doing it to starting the "Invitation Tournament" in 1934. Four years of course after his Grand Slam year of 1930 in which he won the US Open, US Amateur, Open Championship and British Amateur. This piece sold for $600 at auction house PBA Galleries, where they estimated because of its historical significance would be in the range of $700 - $1,000. 4 3/4" x 3"

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
