William Whiting Davis Multiface Adjustable Putter by G.S. Sprague & Co.

This is a rare G.S. Sprague Patent Putter which dates to circa early 1900s. The aluminum head putter has a unique ball-in-socket adjustable hosel (please see photos). This seldom seen club frequently has had a rusted ball joint in other models, this highly presentable offering is in great shape and functions exceptionally well. Tightening the shaft allows it to lie in the desired position for the golfer. Loosening the shaft allows the head to separate from the head. Both the lie and loft can be adjusted for both left and right handed golfers

Head stamping reads as follows:

G.S. Sprague & Co.
