This lot is for the 1998 typed letter hand signed in black ink by President George H.W. Bush. The 8x10 photo pictured at the bottom is not included with this item it is shown only as provenance for the relationship between our consignor who this letter is directed to and the President. This letter on President Bush's personal letterhead carries the standard three fold mailing creases. George Herbert Walker Bush served as the 41st President of the United States (1989–93). He is currently the oldest surviving President. This letter is personalized to JD. The item will come with a letter of authenticity from James Spence Authentication. Our consignor wishes this to be an absolute auction and thus the $1 starting bid. This has the potential to be of extreme value based on rise in George Bush material.
