The Schenectady putter was made famous by Walter Travis and his 1904 British Open win. Later outlawed by the R & A.
Aluminum alloy center shafted stamped on the back - Schenectady putter pat. March 24, 1903. Difficult to read (lots of rounds of golf rounds since 1903). Collectors like to have one of these famous putter for their collections.
