Uncommon is it to find this staple of American golf literature with its dust jacket and slipcase. The 1948 publication talks about the majors and their winners from tournament that took place in the United States during the time-period.The accomplished author Herbert Warren Wind wrote numerous golf publications including 'The Story of American Golf.' Some say that Herbert Warren Wind coined the term Amen Corner, when describing the stretch of 11, 12 and 13 at Augusta National. It is in good condition, with its original dust jacket in addition to a slipcase. There is a Sports Illustrated advertisement adhered to the flyleaf inside the book.
