Arnold Palmer Signed Saturday Round 1967 Augusta National Scorecard
This official Augusta National Golf Club 1967 scorecard (not to be confused with a Masters official round scorecard) was professionally scored by Mr. Gilbert, it is presumed he was a rules official or media member covering the Saturday third round pairing of Robert DeVicenzo and Arnold Palmer at the Masters. It has accurately been scored hole-by-hole for De Vicenzo (74) and Palmer (70). Palmer's score of 70 that day was only bettered by four players, but this day belonged to Ben Hogan at age 57 in his last Masters "The Hawk" soared again shooting a low round of the day 66 (which equaled his career best set in the 1953 Masters). Palmer's signature is in blue ballpoint pen below his marked score for the day. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their FULL letter of authentication #BB29281 comes with this lot. After this letter was completed it was found that Hall of Famer Roberto DeVicenzo also signed in ink this card next to the attest designation.
