Our March 2023 Auction saw Tiger Woods' debut final round scorecard fetch a cool $125k - an incredible sum for any scorecard. "Winning breeds winning" Hall of Fame coach John Wooden said, and here is a second offering of an official Tiger Woods Sunday scorecard - the defending champion, runner-up '64' round competitor scorecard! ''The first tournament is always important,'' said Woods to The New York Times just prior to the 1998 Mercedes Championships at La Costa Resort and Spa, named the Tour's 1997 Player of the Year at that Friday's awards dinner. ''You always want to get off to a good start. I have some nice memories here. I also have a lot of family and friends here, and that means a lot, to see some faces from elementary and high school.'' Red-shirted Tiger had to play well, and he did. On his way to a runner-up finish he gave the fourth round all he had. Three birdies and an eagle '31' front nine was paired with a 3-under back for carded 64. Each of those bogey-free 18 final round holes at the 1998 Mercedes Championships are detailed here. Official scorecards continue to represent one of the very few 'game' or 'tournament-used' items able to be attributed to a certain time and place in sports.

Each lot has its own 30 minute countdown clock during extended bidding. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
