Golf Journal Magazines Signed by Trevino, Graham, Kite, & Nelson
The US Open is the annual open national championship of golf in the United States. It is the second of the four major championships in golf. It was first played at Newport Country Club in Newport, RI and was a 9-hole competition. Since 1898 the competition has been 72 holes of stroke play. It takes place in mid-June so that if there are no weather delays the final round is played on the third Sunday (Father's Day). Featured here are four USGA Golf Journal magazines signed by Lee Trevino (1971 US Open champion), David Graham (1981 US Open champion), Tom Kite (1992 US Open champion), and Larry Nelson (1983 US Open champion).
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, March 3rd, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
