Jack Nicklaus 1959 'Ohio State - Wins Amateur - Top Amateur' Lincoln Wheat Penny Card
Arguably the best golfer of all time, Jack Nicklaus was a force to be reckoned with on the golf course, as evidenced by his 18 Major wins, Jack would say 20 with much validity, counting his two United States Amateur titles as Majors. The Golden Bear earned his first Major (at the time) with his win at the 1959 US Amateur at The Broadmoor, 1 up over Charles Coe with a birdie on the final hole. Here we have a 1959 Lincoln Wheat penny card commemorating Nicklaus' win.
