Arnold Palmer, Hale Irwin, and Jay Haas Signed 2004 US Senior Open Hat
The 2004 US Senior Open saw Peter Jacobsen claim his first Champions Tour win. Offered here is a hat from the tournament that has been signed by Arnold Palmer, Hale Irwin, and Jay Haas. Each signature comes boldly in black marker. Palmer's signature especially catches the eye, his golf legacy including 9 Major titles in a career spanning decades. Hale Irwin won the US Open three times (1974, 1979, 1990) and is one of the few players to win a tournament on nearly every continent (excluding Australia). Jay Haas comes from a golfing family, being the nephew of Bob Goalby as well as having sons that played on the PGA Tour.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
Please note: Our bidders have spoken, and we have listened to their wishes. With that in mind, this auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, January 28th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period.
Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
