'Berckmans Orchard Donated by Augusta National Golf Club' Solid Bronze Plaque

Augusta National Golf Club was mapped out on the land of former 'Fruitland Nursery,' a business, that was owned by the Berckman family through 1925, by Bobby Jones, Clifford Roberts and Allister McKenzie in 1931. The land was sold for a reported $70,000 to the group, who then paid homage to the Berckmans and their flower business in many different ways. Each hole at Augusta National is named after a flower that was once in the Fruitland Nursery. Here is a plaque from 'Berckmans Orchard,' donated by Augusta National Golf Club. It is very heavy and measures to 8" by 10." This used bronze plaque has residue on the back includes adhesive and concrete.
