Offered here is Royal North Devon Golf Club Artist's Proof by artist Bill Waugh. This edition of the piece is very limited, as it is hand-numbered out of 50. The piece has a shepherd with his dog taking a break from herding his sheep, who are in the background. The back of the piece is inscribed by Bill Waugh and states:

'Royal North Devon Golf Club, England's oldest golf course (links), an original painting by Bill Waugh.'

Bill Waugh has established himself as one of Golf's major international artists. Amoung his clients he can name many of the game's elite including Steve Ballesteros, Greg Norman, Gary Player and a couple of U.S. Presidents. His special skill is depicting famous courses and their clubhouses in beautiful watercolors and oils. Such is his prowess that apart from his special commissions he has produced work for the Open, the U.S. Open, the Ryder Cup and famous clubs around the world

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:

This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, July 21st with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
