Cherry Hills 1960 US Open Arnold Palmer Print by Donald Moss & Commemorative Badge
The caption below explains what took place at the 1960 US Open well: "Tension was mounting as "Arnie's Army" waited for Palmer to hole out a par on the par 3 12th hole. In the greatest come from behind charge in Open history, Arnold Palmer moved up twelve players and seven strokes for a final round 65 and 280 total for victory." The print is in good condition with slight yellowing due to age and comes out to 26" by 32."
This print comes with a 1960 US Open commemorative badge. The 2017 US Open at Erin Hills acknowledged that it was the first US Open without Arnold Palmer in many, many years and honored him and his US Open victory with a commemorative pin. Made as a replica of Arnie's 1960 contestant badge, those lucky enough to be in attendance received an incredible piece of memorabilia. This piece is sure to bring fond memories and shine in any collection. Measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" and is in excellent condition.
