1972 Letter to Jean Murphy from Mrs. Jock Hutchison - Masters Gifts Content
In the hand of inaugural Masters Tournament starter Jock Hutchison's wife, this hand-written letter from May 8, 1972 contains great Masters Tournament content. A lovely excerpt from Mrs. Hutchison reads "As I look up I see the 13-hole Azalea flowery hole. Handy to me is the sewing kit also close by a tool kit in fact every room has an Augusta National keepsake." The profound impact that The Masters Tournament has on the golf and sporting world is immeasurable, yet excellently summed up by the 1963 to 1973 Masters Tournament starter Jock Hutchison's wife. Hutchison found great success at Augusta National himself. He won the inaugural PGA Senior's Championship on the hallowed grounds. This full-page blue ballpoint pen letter to Mrs. Murphy at Augusta National is heartfelt and the contents that hit home to many Masters fans. It is concluded with the Hutchison's family address in Evanston, IL.

Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, February 14th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you
