Think of how much fun you have on your golf trips with cronies. Now imagine that one of your cronies was Bobby Jones and that he was taking you to the Augusta National for your golf trip. That is what these scorecards have documented. As would make sense for Jones outing the scorecards are a Spalding Sporting Goods product as shown by their logo in upper right hand corner. Deemed the Postmasters Invitational, Jones would hold a social and golf trip annually at Augusta. One of those who was a part of this event was his Atlanta neighbor and friend, Charles Harmon Black Jr. (who traveled with and competed with Jones in the 1929 U.S. Open at pebble Beach). With normal banter and joking of golf trips what is thought to be in Jones hand has been written on the card, "Charles Harmon Black Jr Often a bridesmaid but never a bride. Couldn't drive his way out of a paper sack but has a pretty short game never the less. Needs seasoning understandingly The Champ." What a piece of Jones memorabilia this is, sadly it is in poor condition with water damage.

Session 1: Lots 1-500 will end on 4/11/13 and Session 2 Lots 500+ will end on 4/14/13 with extended bidding to start at 9:00 PM EST for both sessions. In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
