The Grand Match' at St. Andrews Framed Color Picture with Engraving Key on Back
Presented here is a 40" x 29" framed "The Golfers - A Grand Match at St. Andrews" piece. This memorializes a moment captured from the 1841 Royal & Ancient annual meeting. The scene depicts the encounter between Sir David Baird and Sir Ralph Anstruther playing against Major Playfair and John Campbell. The original is widely considered to be the single most important piece of artwork related to golf. This is not an original, but presents nice and includes the key on the back. A must have visual piece for every collection.
