Three Sequential Sepia Tone Virginia Van Wie 5x7 Photos by John Hemmer of Pinehurst
A set of three swing sequence photos of Virginia Van Wie, three-time US Women's Amateur champion. Holding the title from 1932 until 1934, the Illinois native Van Wie is captured in three different swing sequence photos by photographer John Hemmer of Pinehurst. Photographer's stamp is on the reverse. One of the photos was used in The American Golfer article of September 1929, sandwiched in between US Women's Amateur bids in which she would fall only to Glenna Collet in the finals.
