1905 Fall River Golf Club Pewter Trophy Won by Edgar Durfee
A pewter trophy from the Fall River Golf Club is offered here for bidders. The trophy is engraved as follows:
"Fall River Golf Club
Bogey Competition
July 22, 1905
Won By
Edgar G. Durfee"
This three handled trophy presents in good condition, standing 5" tall and 4 1/8" wide. It would appear this trophy was won by a relative of Fall River GC's first President, Nathan Durfee. The club was founded in 1899, changing to Fall River Country Club in 1914.
