From the New York Tribune on September 28, 1919 is this full page cartoon illustrating President Woodrow Wilson's troubles inside the office and humorous escape to the golf course. "When care and worry make him fret, When Trouble comes to get his goat; He goes out where he can forget The Senate and the workman's vote." It goes on to say "In sand filled traps he may career, where he has topped his shot; and five putts on a perfect green Will make a man FORGET A LOT." The colorful watercolor print cartoon with folds melds politics and golf with a burlwood outer frame and textured off-white matting. 22" x 26"
