1923 Congressional C.C. Membership Certificate Signed by Herbert Hoover
This certificate, number 492, declares that Creighton F. Thompson is a life member of Congressional Country Club. An excellent signature from our 31st President Herbert Hoover. If you notice, this certificate was issued in 1923 which is a year before Congressional opened, an excellent collectable. This also is signed by Hoover some six years before he would take office as President in March of 1929.
This very unique golf and politically matched display piece measures a pleasing 14 1/4" x 11 1/4" in size. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature of Herbert Hoover, and their letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
