1923 Western Amateur Golf Championship Director's Ribbon - Chick Evans' 8th & Final Western Am Win
Over his long career which started in the early 1900's, Chick Evans was one of the most recognized faces in American amateur golf. In 1916, he was the first amateur to win the US Open and the US Amateur in the same year. He followed this feat up with a second US Amateur title in 1920. As a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame and with his Evans caddie scholarship program remaining so important to this day, Chick will long be recognized in the golf community for more than just his outstanding play at the turn of the century. 1923 marked Evans' incredible 8th Western Amateur championship win. Few pieces are still around from that week, with the royal blue and silver-tone Director's ribbon in this lot one of them.

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
