1927 Bobby Jones 'Winner at the Southern Open' Poses with His Trophy
At his home of East Lake Golf Club, Bobby Jones would prevail at the Southern Open in 1927. It would be a score of 281, winning in Atlanta and being captured in this clear photo posing with the trophy he received by winning the Southern Open and taken three years prior to his Grand Slam. A rare image of the smiling, young Jones with his hardware from this event and it presents quite well from the archives of New York, New York renown Underwood and Underwood Studio.
