1927 US Amateur Championship at Minikahda Club Official Program - Bobby Jones Win!
This program is a must have for Bobby Jones Collectors. The USGA, 11 years after the US Open, made a return trip to Minikahda for the U.S. Amateur Championship. Bobby Jones was ready to return to the top of his game after missing the title the previous year. Jones crushed Chick Evans in the final, 8 & 7 as he registered the third of his record five titles. In the semifinals, Jones wiped out two-time Amateur winner and 1913 U.S. Open champion Francis Ouimet, 11 & 10, prior to his easy victory over Evans. Some might say this would be one of his more dominating victories of his illustrious career. Of note to golf historians and those with an interest in the legendary course architect Donald Ross should know that there is a hole by hole depiction that takes an in-depth look at Ross' 1920 revision of the course. Paper loss on top left front cover, subtle folds and ripples along spine, cut near top front right corner. Program is intact, and these flaws do not take away from the program's collectability,

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
