Offered in this lot we have a 1930 program from the last leg of the Grand Slam won by Bobby Jones. George Trevor sportswriter for the New York Sun would phrase Jones' four Major triumphs in 1930 as such, "stormed the impregnable quadrilateral of golf." This is one of the tougher golf programs to locate in any condition. Program remains in good condition, but does exhibit newspaper clippings with coverage of the event which have been attached to the front inside cover. The scoresheet inside provides a match by match review scored in period writing implements. Great insight to a day at Bobby Jones's greatest feats.
