1931 Ryder Cup at The Scioto CC Friday Ticket #1002 - Pristine Unimprovable Condition - Rare
Newly-discovered example of the 1931 Ryder Cup Friday Ticket #1002 directly from the hosting organization PGA of America from its PGA REACH archives. Following a detailed review of this 1931 against the other known cleanest examples existing it is deemed that this is the most noteworthy example of an early Ryder Cup ticket known to exist, a great collecting treasure from Golf’s most respected team competition. The rectangular shaped ticket still to this day retains its original blue colored attaching string which is one asset which it holds over some of its closest rivals. Vibrant, focused green color with deep set typeset printing give this gem unparalleled eye appeal. The ultra fresh appearance of this ticket belies its age. Few pre-World War II Ryder Cup tickets exist to meet the demand of the most discriminating golf hobbyists. This offered piece is magnificent! Indisputable Mint condition.
