1934 British Walker Cup Team Signed Album Page
Eleven total signatures, this 1934 Walker Cup Team signed album page contains signatures that are so difficult to find that we haven't even seen them before. It represents at least 8, and likely 9, from the 1934 British Team, many of which participated in additional Walker Cups and had success in the British Amateur tournament. Scotland Robert Harris (4-time Walker Cup participant prior to 1934 and 1925 British Amateur winner) and one other (likely team member Lionel Munn or Leonard Crawley). While the team would fall at the hands of Francis Ouimet and the United States team 9-2, their signatures on this album remain scarce and sought after for the completist. The verso includes other signatures dated 1934 and two newspaper captions adhered. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
