1936 US Open at Baltusrol Contestant Badge - Tony Manero Winner
The 1936 US Open was held June 4–6, 1936, at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey. Tony Manero surpassed Harry Cooper in the final round to claim his first major, denying Cooper his elusive major championship. A contestants pin #161 (Stamped on Reverse) from that Championship is offered here. This pin is a great condition example of this highly collectible, issued to players only, for identification purposes memento. Reverse carries the stamping of its maker "Robbins Co. Attleboro".
