1939 US Open Championship Contestant Sectional Qualifying Badge
Here we have a 1 1/4" diameter badge from the 1939 sectional qualifying for the 1939 US Open. The pin is missing from the badge, otherwise excellent condition. Byron Nelson won in a three-way playoff over Craig Wood and Denny Shute, claiming his only U.S. Open title in 1939.
