1947 Ryder Cup Bullion Blazer Jacket Commemorative Patch
With food rationing still in effect in Great Britain, the first post World War II Ryder Cup was pulled together in 1947 as an attempt to return the golfing world back to the way things had been prior to the horrors of war. Heavy rain saturated the course for both the opening day foursome matches and the 10 singles matches the second and final day. An estimated crowd of 5,000 trudged through mud throughout the matches. Presented here is a colorfully stitched 1947 Ryder Cup bullion blazer jacket commemorative patch presented in very good condition.
