1947 Women's US Amateur at Franklin Hills CC Contestants Badge - Louise Suggs Winner
A top condition example of the 1 1/8 x 1 1/4" 1947 Women's United States Amateur contestants badge as produced by the U.S.G.A. is offered here. It still bears the verso stamping of the Robbins Co. of Attleboro, Ma., traditional manufactures of the U.S.G.A's contestants pins in this time period. One of the true legends of Women's golf, is the Hall of Famer Louise Suggs who was the champion of this event.
