1948 Bobby Jones Smiling at a Water Fountain Wearing Medal Original Photo
This vintage silver gelatin print, dated August 1948, features a casual portrait of the legendary golfer Robert Tyre Bobby Jones Jr. The subject is depicted standing beside an outdoor water fountain, wearing a short-sleeved polo shirt with a medal pinned to his chest. The photograph is an unmounted and unframed print. The top edge of the recto features the pencil notation 335. The reverse of the photograph contains extensive handwritten notations in pencil, pen, and thick black ink that identify the subject and date the image. No photographer stamp or signature is present. 8" x 10"
