1950 Women's US Amateur at Atlanta Athletic Club Contestants Badge - Beverly Hanson Winner
Offered is original 1950 United States Golf Association contestants badge for Women's Amateur which measures 1 1/8" x 1 1/4", and retains original pin backing. Beverly Hanson claimed the victory in 1950 on the East Lake Course of the Atlanta Athletic Club by defeating Mae Murray, 6 and 4, in the 36-hole Championship final. Hanson would go on to win 3 Majors as a pro following her solid amateur career.
