1955 Ryder Cup US Team Crest Patch with Snead and Rees Cuts
The 11th Ryder Cup Matches were held at the Thunderbird Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California on November 5th and 6th. The United States team won the competition by a score of 8 to 4 points. Team USA had a 3-1 advantage in foursomes and a 5-3 edge in singles to account for the final score of 8-4. Tommy Bolt, Jack Burke Jr., Doug Ford and Sam Snead each contributed 2 points for the American side. This crest patch remains in top condition, and is accompanied by cuts from both Sam Sneed and Dai Rees. A great addition to any Ryder Cup collection. Sam Snead and Dai Rees signatures are on 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" cards. Team crest patch measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".
