1959 Masters Tournament 2nd Rd Ticket #510 w/ Original String - Jack Nicklaus Masters Debut
Ohio State University's Jack Nicklaus made his Masters debut in 1959 at age 19, receiving Low Amateur honors the following year - this Buckeye red ticket a witness to the Golden Cub. Eventual champion Art Wall, Jr. was a 14-time PGA Tour winner, but his claim to fame comes from his dramatic rise at Augusta National at the 23rd Masters Tournament.
Proudly offered here from the Masters Ticket category is a second-round ducat to the 1959 Masters Tournament. The final edition of the 1950's 'Tradition Unlike Any Other' included an important debut (Jack) and an incredible finish. Art Wall, Jr. overtook 12 golfers with a final round of 66, including birdies on five of the last six holes, to win his career-defining major. This purple ticket gained access to the second round Friday, with creasing present that shows quite well. This ticket is #510 and contains its original string. This was Jack's final round that year, not playing the weekend in his debut.
