1964 U.S.G.A. Amateur Championship Official Program Canterbury Golf Club
This original official program was produced for the 64th United States Golf Association Amateur Championship, held at the Canterbury Golf Club in Cleveland, Ohio, from September 14 to 19, 1964. The front cover features a full-color scenic view of the golf course along with the logos of the USGA and the Canterbury Golf Club. The interior content includes a detailed 18-hole course guide titled Some tips on playing at the Canterbury Golf Club by club professional and Hall of Fame golfer Henry Picard. Each hole entry is accompanied by a black-and-white photograph, a diagram of the hole layout, yardage, par information, and strategic advice. World Golf Hall of Famer Bill Campbell was the winner in 1964 in the final year the event was competed in a match play format. Publication remains in a strong ex-mt condition.
