1966 Masters Tournament Contestant Bag Tag Issued to Peter J. Butler - Co Leader After 36 Holes
This seldom seen personal competitor Masters Tournament Bag Tag is a memento given yearly to contestants. From Augusta National, it is 3” in diameter and belonged to Peter J. Butler from England. This bag tag is in excellent condition free from any “foxing” which can occur on these bag tags. Leather strap and buckle supports the tag which appears with white background surrounding the Masters logo along with dating April 7, 8, 9, 10 1966 presents in the middle with 'Peter J. Butler' in black bold letters noted beneath. Noted Augusta National Golf Club professionals Bob Kletcke and Gene Stout also line the bottom. Butler turned in a fine performance in the 1966 Masters as the co-leader after 36 holes before finishing tied for 13th place. Where Butler really exceeded in his career was at the Open Championship, finishing in the top 5 four times in 23 appearances.

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
