1966 'The History of Golf' with 8 Original Lithographs


This lot features the 1966 'The History of Golf' with eight original lithographs, with illustrations by artist Bill Brauer and published by Elldor Publishing Co. Inc. 1966. This lot comes to you in excellent condition and depicts eight memorable moments in golf history. There is also a written description to go along with the eight photos. The lithographs display the following:

Ben Hogan takes British Open 1953
Venturi's Comeback. 1964 National Open
Gene Sarazen historic double-eagle 1935
U.S. Open play-off 1962. Nicklaus 71, Palmer 74.
Bobby Jones wins British Open 1930
1960 U.S. Open, Arnold Palmer's first "charge."
Snead and Hogan play off 1954 Masters
Francis Ouimet wins U.S. Open 1913

Each lithograph measures 12" x 15"
